18th July 2025

Heatly Joins the Heat Pump Association as an Executive Member

We’re proud to announce that Heatly has officially joined the Heat Pump Association (HPA) as an Executive Member. This move strengthens our commitment to accelerating the transition to low-carbon heating across the UK and beyond.

Why We Joined the HPA

In the UK, the Heat Pump Association is the leading voice of the heat pump industry. It represents manufacturers, installers, and innovators who want to drive the transition to clean heating. Ambitious governmental net-zero targets and the urgent need for building decarbonisation mean the HPA has a vital role to play. It must shape the future of sustainable heating.

At Heatly, our mission is to make low-carbon heating easier, smarter, and more accessible for everyone. By becoming an Executive Member of the HPA, we can actively contribute to conversations, policies, and strategies to help reshape the UK's heating landscape.

Griff Thomas, MD of Heatly, says

At Heatly, we firmly believe collaboration is the key to driving meaningful progress in the renewable energy sector. That is why we became an Executive Member of the Heat Pump Association. It allows us to work with industry leaders to shape the future of sustainable heating in the UK.

This partnership enables us to support and promote innovation through our Heatly platform, thereby raising industry standards. Together with the HPA, we are committed to accelerating the adoption of heat pump solutions and ensuring the industry is ready to meet the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

The Benefits of our HPA Executive Membership

As an Executive Member of the Heat Pump Association, we have a seat at the table at which decisions are made.

Here’s what this membership means for Heatly:

  • Strategic Influence: Executive Members help guide the HPA’s priorities. They shape key policy positions and contribute to the future direction of the industry. This means Heatly will play a direct role in advocating for policy, regulatory change, and market development.
  • Collaborative Innovation: We will work alongside industry leaders to tackle shared challenges and bring our innovations to the fore. These could be supply chain development, installer training, or consumer awareness.
  • Early Access to Insights: Executive Members receive priority updates on government consultations, industry developments, and market intelligence. Therefore, allowing us to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Thought Leadership Opportunities: Participating in working groups, roundtables, and events elevates Heatly's voice and influences the dialogue around heat pumps, as well as low-carbon heating.

Looking to the Future

Becoming an Executive member of the HPA is a natural step for Heatly. It allows us to scale our impact and vindicates our support for the mass adoption of heat pumps. We are excited to work with industry peers to influence the future of clean heating and contribute to the UK's journey to net zero.

Together with the Heat Pump Association, we’re powering a cleaner, smarter heating future—one home at a time.
